Hello,

Thanks for visiting our District Website. Hopefully you will be able to find what you are looking for. Be sure to visit the Elementary and High School tabs under our Menu option. Our schools are full of the best and brightest students and a faculty and staff that truly care about kids. If you're not yet a Yellowjacket, we hope you will be soon.

Our district is located in the southern part of Craighead County. The area continues to grow with lots to see and do for families with and without school age children. We are located 15 minutes from Arkansas State University in one of the fastest growing areas in the state of Arkansas. Bay is a great place to call home.

Students in the Bay School District have the advantage of 1 to 1 technology. This allows for a wider range of educational resources to be used in the classroom and at home. It has also provided an effective and efficient way to deliver instruction, assignments, and assessments when students are unable to come to campus. We are excited to continue to build on all of the great things happening in the BSD!

Extra-curricular and co-curricular programs have a long and proud tradition at our school. There are many clubs, career and technical education programs, and fine arts opportunities for students who have a wide variety of interests. Bay is also home to one of the most tradition rich athletic programs in the state. There is plenty to be a part of at the Bay School District.

As the new superintendent, I feel very fortunate to be a part of such an amazing faculty and staff. The team first attitude and work ethic of the folks here  are impressive. The thing I am most proud of, is how evident it is that the people of Bay and the faculty and staff at the Bay School District truly care about the school and its students. If you are looking for a great place to live or are searching for a great place for your kids to go to school, we are that place. Feel free to reach out to us at 870-781-3711 or contact me by email at llovins@bay.k12.ar.us. I would love to tell you more about our school district.
