Our Elementary Teacher of the Month for December is Mrs. Joani Platz. She is a fantastic educator to her students and a wonderful asset to our school district. She is more than willing to work with parents to personally make sure that each child in her class is thriving. She goes above and beyond and even takes one for her team by doing all winter recess duties. She is an amazing role model and displays all of our STING characteristics. Therefore, Mrs. Joani is a perfect candidate for our December Teacher of the Month.

Zala Richards is Bay Elementary's Student of the Month for December. She is always very compassionate about her classwork, as well as her classmates. She is never one to laugh or make fun of another student when they get an answer wrong. She is actually quick to defend and help them solve it. She always puts others before herself. Zala makes a great candidate for Student of the Month due to her empathy for others and strong passion to learn.

Bay Choir had a full day of caroling recently! Our Choir sang, and Sr. Band member, Nakita Box, performed on flute! We started at St. Bernard’s, and then we went to Ridgecrest and the Bungalows to perform.
